Guide To Ancient Grains + Purely Elizabeth Giveaway

/ / Nourishment

Have you ever heard of Ancient Grains and thought ancient? Maybe this is just me, but it definitely sounds intriguing. Ancient grains are grains that are powerfully nutritious and often not consumed because they are not always talked about. This term focuses on taking our modern, processed diet and adopting some cultural customs from the past that complement your body’s health in a positive way. These grains will broaden the classic brown rice, whole wheat and oats. Time to expand our pallets and learn about how to nourish our bodies with variety.

A granola that is PURELY delicious!

I absolutely LOVE granola for so many reasons. Granola has a variety of flavors, ingredients and always leaves me feeling energized. Some are delicious, yet packed with sugar and others are not sweet enough. The beautiful thing about granola created purely is that it’s healthy, energizing and can be enjoyed in the morning, as a mid-day snack, and guilt-free dessert. When it’s time to stock up on granola, it’s sometimes hard to choose which one, but Purely Elizabeth changes the game for me.

Health Benefits

Purely Elizabeth granola is packed with so many nutrient-dense ingredients that I would not usually consume on the daily. Some of these ingredients include flax, hemp seeds and kaniwa. All ingredients are completely natural, never modified, and pure. What does this mean for you? It’s easier for the body to digest and nourishes the body right! Also, it’s delicious…tastes like a dessert. Purely Elizabeth offers a variety of foodie products including gluten free granola, vegan granola, paleo granola, muesli, oatmeal and a cookbook offering a variety of recipes. Below are a few of the ancient grains that are in Purely Elizabeth.
