Berry Banana Smoothie Bowl

Smoothie Bowls

These are seriously the bomb! I cannot say I always have frozen açai laying in the freezer, so I made this delicious and creamy smoothie bowl that is just as good as your favorite local açai bowl! I absolutely love whipping up a smoothie bowl when I am craving a sweet and healthy meal. They always hit the spot and are SO easy to make right at home. If you love açai bowls then this is for you. Smoothie bowls are way thicker than a regular smoothie, so they’re almost ice cream-like. Also, you get to add toppings! A bit of fresh fruit, chopped nuts, granola, bee pollen or a drizzle of nut butter can take any smoothie to the next level.

Now, some of you may be wondering what bee pollen is?! This is an amazing ingredient that has SO many health benefits. Bee pollen is a ball of pollen made by young bees when they land on a flower. You can add it to foods like yogurt, oatmeal, or smoothies. It can be ground down as a supplement powder or into a capsule. Here is my go-to bee pollen!

Bee Pollen Benefits:

  1. Reduces inflammation
  2. Reduces stress
  3. Boosts liver health
  4. Strengthens the immune system
  5. Eases symptoms of menopause
  6. Speeds up healing

I always top my smoothie bowl with my favorite Purely Elizabeth granola! All of their flavors are AMAZING, but I love their cranberry pecan granola or their blueberry hemp granola.
